Aura Integra Behavioral Health, PLLC is a growing psychiatric and addiction care practice in Worcester, Massachusetts. There is no formal opening posted right now. What there is instead is an open door, and a real interest in meeting the people who might one day practice here.

Care is delivered by video to people who are physically located in Massachusetts at the time of their visit.

Where the practice actually is

Aura Integra is small. Today the clinical work is carried by one psychiatric nurse practitioner, and the plan is to grow carefully rather than quickly. We would rather bring in a few people who practice the way this place is meant to feel than staff up and hope the culture survives it.

So we are not going to pretend there is a posted vacancy when there is not. There is no job description to apply to, no salary range to quote, and no start date to offer. If that changes, this page changes with it.

What we can offer right now is this. Tell us who you are, and we will keep it. When the practice makes room, the people who introduced themselves are the first people we come back to.

Who we hope to hear from

None of this is a requirement and none of it is a checklist. It is an honest picture of who tends to fit.

  • Psychiatric nurse practitioners who are comfortable holding both the psychiatric and the substance use side of a presentation without handing one of them off.
  • Therapists and counselors who want to work alongside a prescriber rather than in a separate building, and who like being consulted.
  • Care coordinators and case managers who know the hardest part of this work is often the phone call nobody wanted to make.
  • Administrative, intake, and billing people who have worked in behavioral health and understand why the confidentiality rules here are stricter than they are elsewhere.
  • Students and new graduates looking for somewhere to learn. Say so. We were all there.

How we practice, so you can tell whether it is your kind of work

  • Care is delivered by video to people who are physically located in Massachusetts at the time of their visit.
  • Substance use care is treated as ordinary medical care. Nobody is described here as clean or dirty, and nobody has to earn respect by being in recovery first.
  • Confidentiality is taken seriously to the point of inconvenience. That includes 42 CFR Part 2 for substance use records, and it shapes tooling choices across the practice.
  • Worcester is a genuinely multilingual city, and language access is treated as part of clinical access rather than a courtesy.
  • Documentation is expected to be good, because someone will read it at the worst possible moment and need it to be clear.

Introduce yourself

A few lines is plenty. This opens a message in your own email app, already addressed and filled in, so you can read it over and change anything before you send it.

Please leave out a date of birth, a Social Security number, and a home address. We do not ask for those and we would rather they were not in an introduction at all.

Massachusetts licensure status

No need to attach a resume here. If we write back, we will ask.

This button opens your email app with the message ready. It does not send anything by itself, and this page has no way to transmit what you typed.

One thing to be clear about

This page is an invitation to be considered, not an offer of employment, and sending an introduction does not create any relationship between you and the practice. We read everything that comes in. We cannot promise a reply to every one, and we would rather say so than leave you wondering.

If you are a patient or a family member looking for care, this is not the right page. Please reach out here instead. If you are in crisis right now, call or text 988 or go to your nearest emergency department. More crisis resources.
