Restoring Your
Whole Self
Guiding Others On New Trajectories
Compassionate psychiatric and addiction medicine care — rooted in clinical excellence, guided by the belief that every person carries an innate light worth restoring.
"Every person carries an innate light — our purpose is to help it shine again."
— The Aura Integra MissionA Name Rooted in Purpose
Aura — the radiant energy that surrounds every living being. Across cultures and traditions, the aura represents the invisible life force — the inner light that persists even in the darkest seasons. Every person who comes to us carries that light, even when life has made it impossible to see.
Integra — from the Latin for whole and complete. True healing is not merely the absence of symptoms — it is the restoration of wholeness: mind, body, spirit, and purpose working in harmony.
Together, Aura Integra means your light, made whole again. Whatever your background, belief system, or path in life — you belong here. This practice exists to walk alongside you on a new trajectory.
Augustine Mensah, MSN, BSPH, APRN, PMHNP-BC
Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner • Addiction Medicine Specialist
Augustine is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with years of hands-on clinical experience in some of the most complex, high-acuity settings in behavioral health — including inpatient psychiatric units, acute detox, and medication-assisted treatment programs.
Before launching Aura Integra, he served as a Nurse Manager overseeing a substance use disorder detox unit, where he led clinical teams, supervised nursing staff, and managed medically complex withdrawal and psychiatric stabilization cases. He holds an active DEA license and is certified to prescribe buprenorphine (Suboxone) for opioid use disorder.
His academic foundation — a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) combined with a Bachelor of Science in Public Health (BSPH) — shapes an approach that is clinically rigorous, population-aware, and rooted in the belief that mental health and addiction care must be accessible, dignified, and whole-person.
Patients receive the attention of a seasoned clinician who has been at the bedside, led the team, and now brings that same standard of care directly to you.
